我若吃地里的出产而不给价银，或使地主气绝身亡，

我若吃地的出產不給價值，或叫原主喪命；

我若吃地的出產不給銀錢，或叫地的原主喪命；

若我白吃地的出產，或使地的主人喪命，

我若吃地裡的出產而不給價銀，或使地主氣絕身亡，

我若喫地所效力的物產而不給價銀，或叫原業主斷氣喪命；

我若食其產、而不償其值、或使原主喪命、

if I have devoured its yield without payment or broken the spirit of its tenants,

Suppose I’ve used up its crops without paying for them. Or I’ve broken the spirit of its renters.

if I have eaten its yield without payment and made its owners breathe their last,

or if I have stolen its crops or murdered its owners,

if I have consumed its produce without payment or shown contempt for its tenants,

If I have eaten its fruit without money, Or have caused its owners to lose their lives,

If I have eaten its fruit without money, Or caused its owners to lose their lives;

If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, Or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:

Say to him,‘ This is what the Lord says: Have you not murdered a man and seized his property?’ Then say to him,‘ This is what the Lord says: In the place where dogs licked up Naboth’s blood, dogs will lick up your blood— yes, yours!’” (niv)

Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. (niv)

When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.” (niv)

Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the life of those who get it. (niv)

“‘ See how each of the princes of Israel who are in you uses his power to shed blood. (niv)

Then two scoundrels came and sat opposite him and brought charges against Naboth before the people, saying,“ Naboth has cursed both God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death.Then they sent word to Jezebel:“ Naboth has been stoned to death.”As soon as Jezebel heard that Naboth had been stoned to death, she said to Ahab,“ Get up and take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite that he refused to sell you. He is no longer alive, but dead.”When Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, he got up and went down to take possession of Naboth’s vineyard. (niv)

In you are people who accept bribes to shed blood; you take interest and make a profit from the poor. You extort unjust gain from your neighbors. And you have forgotten me, declares the Sovereign Lord.“‘ I will surely strike my hands together at the unjust gain you have made and at the blood you have shed in your midst. (niv)

See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer. (niv)
