If the men of my tent have not said,‘ Who is there that has not been satisfied with his meat?’

若我帐棚的人未尝说，谁不以主人的食物吃饱呢？

若我帐棚中的人未曾说：‘谁不以他的肉食吃饱呢？’

若我帐棚中的人未曾说：‘谁不以他的肉食吃饱呢？’

住在我帐篷中的人，谁没饱餐我的肉食呢？

我家里的人若没有说：‘谁能找出哪一个没有饱吃他的肉食的呢？’

若我帳棚的人未嘗說，誰不以主人的食物吃飽呢？（

若我帳棚中的人未曾說：『誰不以他的肉食吃飽呢？』

若我帳棚中的人未曾說：『誰不以他的肉食吃飽呢？』

住在我帳篷中的人，誰沒飽餐我的肉食呢？

我家裡的人若沒有說：‘誰能找出哪一個沒有飽吃他的肉食的呢？’

若我帳棚的家人未嘗說：「誰不以我主人的肉食而飽足呢？」（

若我幕中人未嘗雲、孰見有人不得其食而飽、

家之人未嘗曰、食無肉、枵腹堪嗟。

我家家原文作幕之人、何曾不指我云、孰不因其施食而得飽、

if those of my household have never said,‘ Who has not been filled with Job’s meat?’—

The workers in my house always said,‘ Job always gives plenty of food to everyone.’

if the men of my tent have not said,‘ Who is there that has not been filled with his meat?’

“ My servants have never said,‘ He let others go hungry.’

Haven’t the members of my household said,“ Who is there who has not had enough to eat at Job’s table?”

Have the people of my tent not said,‘ Who can find one who has not been satisfied with his meat’?

If the men of my tent have not said, Who can find one that hath not been filled with his meat?

Haven’t the members of my household said,“ Who is there who has not had enough to eat at Job’s table?”

If the men of my tabernacle said not, Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.

if the members of my household have never said,‘ If only there were someone who has not been satisfied from Job’s meat!’–

if the men of my tent have not said,‘ Who can find one who has not been filled with his meat?’

Then Abishai said to David,“ God has delivered your enemy into your hand this day. Now therefore, please, let me strike him at once with the spear, right to the earth; and I will not have to strike him a second time!”

You have not given the weary water to drink, And you have withheld bread from the hungry.

When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.

Then the men of David said to him,“ This is the day of which the Lord said to you,‘ Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, that you may do to him as it seems good to you.’” And David arose and secretly cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

Look, this day your eyes have seen that the Lord delivered you today into my hand in the cave, and someone urged me to kill you. But my eye spared you, and I said,‘ I will not stretch out my hand against my Lord, for he is the LORD’s anointed.’

Why do you persecute me as God does, And are not satisfied with my flesh?

Then Johanan the son of Kareah spoke secretly to Gedaliah in Mizpah, saying,“ Let me go, please, and I will kill Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no one will know it. Why should he murder you, so that all the Jews who are gathered to you would be scattered, and the remnant in Judah perish?”But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said to Johanan the son of Kareah,“ You shall not do this thing, for you speak falsely concerning Ishmael.”

But Abishai the son of Zeruiah answered and said,“ Shall not Shimei be put to death for this, because he cursed the LORD’s anointed?”And David said,“ What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah, that you should be adversaries to me today? Shall any man be put to death today in Israel? For do I not know that today I am king over Israel?”

And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.But Jesus answered and said,“ Permit even this.” And He touched his ear and healed him.

And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said,“ Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?”But He turned and rebuked them, and said,“ You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.

Then Abishai the son of Zeruiah said to the king,“ Why should this dead dog curse my Lord the king? Please, let me go over and take off his head!”But the king said,“ What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? So let him curse, because the Lord has said to him,‘ Curse David.’ Who then shall say,‘ Why have you done so?’”

If they say,“ Come with us, Let us lie in wait to shed blood; Let us lurk secretly for the innocent without cause;Let us swallow them alive like Sheol, And whole, like those who go down to the Pit;

But they lie in wait for their own blood, They lurk secretly for their own lives.

Let them not say in their hearts,“ Ah, so we would have it!” Let them not say,“ We have swallowed him up.”

You who hate good and love evil; Who strip the skin from My people, And the flesh from their bones;Who also eat the flesh of My people, Flay their skin from them, Break their bones, And chop them in pieces Like meat for the pot, Like flesh in the caldron.”
