Have the people of my tent not said,‘ Who can find one who has not been satisfied with his meat’?

若我帐棚的人未尝说，谁不以主人的食物吃饱呢？

若我帐棚中的人未曾说：‘谁不以他的肉食吃饱呢？’

若我帐棚中的人未曾说：‘谁不以他的肉食吃饱呢？’

住在我帐篷中的人，谁没饱餐我的肉食呢？

我家里的人若没有说：‘谁能找出哪一个没有饱吃他的肉食的呢？’

若我帳棚的人未嘗說，誰不以主人的食物吃飽呢？（

若我帳棚中的人未曾說：『誰不以他的肉食吃飽呢？』

若我帳棚中的人未曾說：『誰不以他的肉食吃飽呢？』

住在我帳篷中的人，誰沒飽餐我的肉食呢？

我家裡的人若沒有說：‘誰能找出哪一個沒有飽吃他的肉食的呢？’

若我帳棚的家人未嘗說：「誰不以我主人的肉食而飽足呢？」（

若我幕中人未嘗雲、孰見有人不得其食而飽、

家之人未嘗曰、食無肉、枵腹堪嗟。

我家家原文作幕之人、何曾不指我云、孰不因其施食而得飽、

if those of my household have never said,‘ Who has not been filled with Job’s meat?’—

The workers in my house always said,‘ Job always gives plenty of food to everyone.’

if the men of my tent have not said,‘ Who is there that has not been filled with his meat?’

“ My servants have never said,‘ He let others go hungry.’

Haven’t the members of my household said,“ Who is there who has not had enough to eat at Job’s table?”

If the men of my tent have not said,‘ Who is there that has not been satisfied with his meat?’

If the men of my tent have not said, Who can find one that hath not been filled with his meat?

Haven’t the members of my household said,“ Who is there who has not had enough to eat at Job’s table?”

If the men of my tabernacle said not, Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.

if the members of my household have never said,‘ If only there were someone who has not been satisfied from Job’s meat!’–

if the men of my tent have not said,‘ Who can find one who has not been filled with his meat?’

Then Abishai said to David,“ Today God has handed your enemy over to you; now then, please let me pin him with the spear to the ground with one thrust, and I will not do it to him a second time.”

You have given the weary no water to drink, And you have withheld bread from the hungry.

Why do you persecute me as God does, And are not satisfied with my flesh?

Why should he take your life, so that all the Jews who are gathered to you would be scattered and the remnant of Judah would perish?”But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said to Johanan the son of Kareah,“ Do not do this thing, for you are telling a lie about Ishmael.”

But Abishai the son of Zeruiah responded,“ Should Shimei not be put to death for this, the fact that he cursed the Lord’s anointed?”David then said,“ What is there between you and me, you sons of Zeruiah, that you should be an adversary to me today? Should anyone be put to death in Israel today? For do I not know that I am king over Israel today?”

And one of them struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his right ear.But Jesus responded and said,“ Stop! No more of this.” And He touched his ear and healed him.

When His disciples James and John saw this, they said,“ Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?”But He turned and rebuked them.

Then Abishai the son of Zeruiah said to the king,“ Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Now let me go over and cut off his head.”But the king said,“ What business of mine is yours, you sons of Zeruiah? If he curses, and if the Lord has told him,‘ Curse David,’ then who should say,‘ Why have you done so?’ ”

If they say,“ Come with us, Let’s lie in wait for blood, Let’s ambush the innocent without cause;Let’s swallow them alive like Sheol, Even whole, like those who go down to the pit;

But they lie in wait for their own blood; They ambush their own lives.

Do not let them say in their heart,“ Aha, our desire!” Do not let them say,“ We have swallowed him up!”

You who hate good and love evil, Who tear off their skin from them And their flesh from their bones,Who eat the flesh of my people, Strip off their skin from them, Smash their bones, And chop them up as for the pot, And as meat in a cauldron!”
