若我帐棚的人未尝说，谁不以主人的食物吃饱呢？

若我帐棚中的人未曾说：‘谁不以他的肉食吃饱呢？’

住在我帐篷中的人，谁没饱餐我的肉食呢？

我家里的人若没有说：‘谁能找出哪一个没有饱吃他的肉食的呢？’

if those of my household have never said,‘ Who has not been filled with Job’s meat?’—

The workers in my house always said,‘ Job always gives plenty of food to everyone.’

if the men of my tent have not said,‘ Who is there that has not been filled with his meat?’

“ My servants have never said,‘ He let others go hungry.’

Haven’t the members of my household said,“ Who is there who has not had enough to eat at Job’s table?”

Have the people of my tent not said,‘ Who can find one who has not been satisfied with his meat’?

If the men of my tent have not said,‘ Who is there that has not been satisfied with his meat?’

If the men of my tent have not said, Who can find one that hath not been filled with his meat?

Haven’t the members of my household said,“ Who is there who has not had enough to eat at Job’s table?”

If the men of my tabernacle said not, Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.

if the members of my household have never said,‘ If only there were someone who has not been satisfied from Job’s meat!’–

if the men of my tent have not said,‘ Who can find one who has not been filled with his meat?’

What you are saying about Ishmael is not true.” (niv)

Then Abishai son of Zeruiah said,“ Shouldn’t Shimei be put to death for this? He cursed the Lord’s anointed.”David replied,“ What does this have to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? What right do you have to interfere? Should anyone be put to death in Israel today? Don’t I know that today I am king over Israel?” (niv)

And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.But Jesus answered,“ No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him. (niv)

When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked,“ Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?”But Jesus turned and rebuked them. (niv)

Then Abishai son of Zeruiah said to the king,“ Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Let me go over and cut off his head.”But the king said,“ What does this have to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? If he is cursing because the Lord said to him,‘ Curse David,’ who can ask,‘ Why do you do this?’” (niv)

If they say,“ Come along with us; let’s lie in wait for innocent blood, let’s ambush some harmless soul;let’s swallow them alive, like the grave, and whole, like those who go down to the pit; (niv)

These men lie in wait for their own blood; they ambush only themselves! (niv)

Do not let them think,“ Aha, just what we wanted!” or say,“ We have swallowed him up.” (niv)

you who hate good and love evil; who tear the skin from my people and the flesh from their bones;who eat my people’s flesh, strip off their skin and break their bones in pieces; who chop them up like meat for the pan, like flesh for the pot?” (niv)
