岂不是祸患临到不义的，灾害临到作孽的呢？

岂不是降灾难给不义之人，降祸患给作恶的人？

灾难不是临到不义的人吗？灾祸不是临到作孽的人吗？

豈不是禍患臨到不義的，災害臨到作孽的呢？

豈不是禍患臨到不義的，災害臨到作惡的嗎？

豈不是禍患臨到不義的，災害臨到作惡的嗎？

豈不是降災難給不義之人，降禍患給作惡的人？

災難不是臨到不義的人嗎？災禍不是臨到作孽的人嗎？

豈不是災難臨到不義之人，而禍患臨到作孽之輩麼？

在於不義者、豈非禍患乎、在於行惡者、豈非災害乎、

惡者災害及之、奇禍中之、

奸邪者豈能不遭禍、行惡者豈能不遇災、

Is it not ruin for the wicked, disaster for those who do wrong?

Sinful people are destroyed. Trouble comes to those who do what is wrong.

Is not calamity for the unrighteous, and disaster for the workers of iniquity?

Isn’t it calamity for the wicked and misfortune for those who do evil?

Doesn’t disaster come to the unjust and misfortune to evildoers?

Is it not disaster to the criminal, And misfortune to those who practice injustice?

Is it not destruction for the wicked, And disaster for the workers of iniquity?

Is it not calamity to the unrighteous, And disaster to the workers of iniquity?

Doesn’t disaster come to the unjust and misfortune to evildoers?

[ Is] not destruction to the wicked? and a strange[ punishment] to the workers of iniquity?

Is it not misfortune for the unjust, and disaster for those who work iniquity?

Is it not calamity to the unrighteous, and disaster to the workers of iniquity?

that the wicked are spared from the day of calamity, that they are delivered from the day of wrath? (niv)

There is no deep shadow, no utter darkness, where evildoers can hide. (niv)

“ Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. (niv)

The Lord will rise up as he did at Mount Perazim, he will rouse himself as in the Valley of Gibeon— to do his work, his strange work, and perform his task, his alien task. (niv)

Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin. (niv)

The way of the Lord is a refuge for the blameless, but it is the ruin of those who do evil. (niv)

What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath— prepared for destruction? (niv)

But you, God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of decay; the bloodthirsty and deceitful will not live out half their days. But as for me, I trust in you. (niv)

While people are saying,“ Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (niv)

when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you. (niv)

But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them— bringing swift destruction on themselves. (niv)

When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers. (niv)

They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might (niv)

In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. (niv)
