Did He who made me in the womb not make him, And the same one create us in the womb?

造我在腹中的，不也是造他吗？将他与我抟在腹中的岂不是一位吗？

造我在母腹中的，不也是造了他吗？在母胎中使我们成形的，岂不是同一位吗？

Did not he who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers?

Didn’t he who made me make my servants also? Didn’t the same God form us inside our mothers?

Did not he who made me in the womb make him? And did not one fashion us in the womb?

For God created both me and my servants. He created us both in the womb.

One who oppresses the poor taunts his Maker, But one who is gracious to the needy honors Him.

Who shows no partiality to the prominent, Nor regards the rich as above the poor, Since they are all the work of His hands?

The rich and the poor have a common bond, The Lord is the Maker of them all.

‘ Your hands fashioned and made me altogether, Yet would You destroy me?Remember that You have made me as clay; Yet would You turn me into dust again?Did You not pour me out like milk, And curdle me like cheese,Clothe me with skin and flesh, And intertwine me with bones and tendons?You have granted me life and goodness; And Your care has guarded my spirit.

Do we not all have one Father? Is it not one God who has created us? Why do we deal treacherously, each against his brother so as to profane the covenant of our fathers?

And now our flesh is like the flesh of our brothers, our children like their children. Yet behold, we are forcing our sons and our daughters to be slaves, and some of our daughters are forced into bondage already, and we are helpless because our fields and vineyards belong to others.”

Is it not to break your bread with the hungry And bring the homeless poor into the house; When you see the naked, to cover him; And not to hide yourself from your own flesh?

I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.My frame was not hidden from You When I was made in secret, And skillfully formed in the depths of the earth;Your eyes have seen my formless substance; And in Your book were written All the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.

Is it right for You indeed to oppress, To reject the work of Your hands, And to look favorably on the plan of the wicked?
