今也年少於我者姍笑我、若輩之父、我曾藐視、不欲列之於守羊之犬中、

越至於今、年少於我者、反加訕笑、彼之父兄、自我視之、比之守羊之犬、不若也。

今也年少於我者訕笑我、其人之祖父、自我視之、不堪與守我群羊之犬同處、

“ But now they mock me, men younger than I, whose fathers I would have disdained to put with my sheep dogs.

我這求告神、蒙他應允的人竟成了朋友所譏笑的；公義完全人竟受了人的譏笑。

就對他們說：「你們解這人到我這裏，說他是誘惑百姓的。看哪，我也曾將你們告他的事，在你們面前審問他，並沒有查出他甚麼罪來；

他們給他穿上紫袍，又用荊棘編做冠冕給他戴上，就慶賀他說：「恭喜，猶太人的王啊！」又拿一根葦子打他的頭，吐唾沫在他臉上，屈膝拜他。戲弄完了，就給他脫了紫袍，仍穿上他自己的衣服，帶他出去，要釘十字架。

就有人吐唾沫在他臉上，又蒙着他的臉，用拳頭打他，對他說：「你說預言吧！」差役接過他來，用手掌打他。

我在患難中，他們卻歡喜，大家聚集。我所不認識的那些下流人聚集攻擊我；他們不住地把我撕裂。他們如同席上好嬉笑的狂妄人向我咬牙。

但那不信的猶太人心裏嫉妒，招聚了些市井匪類，搭夥成羣，聳動合城的人闖進耶孫的家，要將保羅、西拉帶到百姓那裏。

以利沙從那裏上伯特利去，正上去的時候，有些童子從城裏出來，戲笑他說：「禿頭的上去吧！禿頭的上去吧！」

百姓站在那裏觀看。官府也嗤笑他，說：「他救了別人；他若是基督，神所揀選的，可以救自己吧！」

那同釘的兩個犯人有一個譏笑他，說：「你不是基督嗎？可以救自己和我們吧！」

坐在城門口的談論我；酒徒也以我為歌曲。

眾人卻一齊喊着說：「除掉這個人！釋放巴拉巴給我們！」

有克里特人中的一個本地先知說：「克里特人常說謊話，乃是惡獸，又饞又懶。」

他把我的弟兄隔在遠處，使我所認識的全然與我生疏。我的親戚與我斷絕；我的密友都忘記我。在我家寄居的，和我的使女都以我為外人；我在他們眼中看為外邦人。我呼喚僕人，雖用口求他，他還是不回答。我口的氣味，我妻子厭惡；我的懇求，我同胞也憎嫌。連小孩子也藐視我；我若起來，他們都嘲笑我。我的密友都憎惡我；我平日所愛的人向我翻臉。

少年人見我而迴避，老年人也起身站立；王子都停止說話，用手摀口；首領靜默無聲，舌頭貼住上膛。

百姓要彼此欺壓；各人受鄰舍的欺壓。少年人必侮慢老年人；卑賤人必侮慢尊貴人。
