“ Why did I not die at birth, Come out of the womb and pass away?

“ Why did I not die at birth? Why did I not perish when I came from the womb?

Why died I not from the womb? Why did I not give up the ghost when my mother bare me?

『你為甚麼使我出母胎呢？把不得我當時就氣絕，不讓人眼看見我啊！這樣、就似乎未曾有我一樣；一出母腹、就被送入墳墓。

像蝸牛消失而過去，像婦人流產未見天日的胎。

然而是你拉我出母腹的；我在母懷裏，你就使我有倚靠的心。我自出母胎，就被委交於你；我一出母腹，你就是我的上帝。

我母親哪，我有禍了，你生了我做對遍地吵鬧紛爭的人！我素來沒有拿錢借給人來取利息，人也沒有拿錢借給我來取利，然而人人都咒罵我。

永恆主啊，求你使他們，使他們怎樣呢？使他們墜胎小產，乳房皺縮枯乾！

『雅各家啊，要聽我！以色列家的一切餘民哪，要細聽！你們自從出母腹、就蒙保抱，自從出母胎、便蒙懷搋；

從出母腹以來我依賴的就是你；是你將我割離母胎的。我不斷頌讚的就是你。

我的肺腑腎腸是你製作的；我在母腹中是你織造了我。我稱謝你，因為你可畏懼而奇妙；你所作的很奇妙。你深深認識我。我在祕密之處被造，像在地府之極深處受編織，那時我的形骸並不向你隱藏。我未成形之質、你的眼早已看見；所定的日子未度其一日，都寫在你冊子上。
