When I smiled at them, they scarcely believed it; the light of my face was precious to them.

When the LORD restored the well-being of Zion, we thought we were dreaming.

How blessed are the people who worship you! O LORD, they experience your favor.

Many say,“ Who can show us anything good?” Smile upon us, LORD!

They told him,“ Joseph is still alive and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt!” Jacob was stunned, for he did not believe them.

And while they still could not believe it( because of their joy) and were amazed, he said to them,“ Do you have anything here to eat?”
