隱於有生者之目、蔽於天空之鳥、或作智慧隱秘有生者之目未之睹智慧暗藏天空之鳥未之見

Instead we speak the wisdom of God, hidden in a mystery, that God determined before the ages for our glory.None of the rulers of this age understood it. If they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.But just as it is written,“ Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love him.”God has revealed these to us by the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children.

in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

This fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet:“ I will open my mouth in parables, I will announce what has been hidden from the foundation of the world.”

I will declare a wise saying; I will share my profound thoughts.I will learn a song that imparts wisdom; I will then sing my insightful song to the accompaniment of a harp.

For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.
