Where then does wisdom come from? Where is the place of understanding?

“智慧从何处来呢？聪明之处在哪里呢？

“然而，智慧何处寻？聪明之道在哪里？

『智慧從哪裏來？明達之處在哪裏呢？

然則智慧奚自、明哲之所何在、

智慧從何至、聰明在何方、

智慧自何來、明哲在何方、

Where then does wisdom come from? Where does understanding dwell?

So where does wisdom come from? Where does understanding live?

“ From where, then, does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding?

“ But do people know where to find wisdom? Where can they find understanding?

Where then does wisdom come from, and where is understanding located?

Where then does wisdom come from? And where is this place of understanding?

“ From where then does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding?

Whence then cometh wisdom? And where is the place of understanding?

Where then does wisdom come from, and where is understanding located?

Whence then cometh wisdom? and where[ is] the place of understanding?

“ But wisdom– where does it come from? Where is the place of understanding?

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

“ But where will wisdom be found? Where is the place of understanding?

To man he said,‘ Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom. To depart from evil is understanding.’”

All this I have proved in wisdom. I said,“ I will be wise;” but it was far from me.That which is, is far off and exceedingly deep. Who can find it out?

For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

“ God understands its way, and he knows its place.

We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown, yet a wisdom not of this world nor of the rulers of this world who are coming to nothing.But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory,which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory.But as it is written,“ Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.”But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God’s Spirit.But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.We also speak these things, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned.But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is judged by no one.
