It cannot be purchased for gold, Nor can silver be weighed for its price.It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, In precious onyx or sapphire.Neither gold nor crystal can equal it, Nor can it be exchanged for jewelry of fine gold.No mention shall be made of coral or quartz, For the price of wisdom is above rubies.The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it, Nor can it be valued in pure gold.

He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness.My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver.

How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

God shall likewise destroy you forever; He shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, And uproot you from the land of the living. Selah

More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

When I applied my heart to know wisdom and to see the business that is done on earth, even though one sees no sleep day or night,then I saw all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. For though a man labors to discover it, yet he will not find it; moreover, though a wise man attempts to know it, he will not be able to find it.
