They search the sources of the rivers and bring hidden things to light.

They search the places where the rivers begin. They bring hidden things out into the light.

He dams up the streams so that they do not trickle, and the thing that is hidden he brings out to light.

They dam up the trickling streams and bring to light the hidden treasures.

I dug wells and drank water in foreign lands. I dried up all the streams of Egypt with the soles of my feet.”

So don’t judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.
