“ This is the portion of a wicked man with God, the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.

『惡人在上帝那裏所有的分兒、強橫人從全能者所得的產業乃是以下這樣：

惡人由上帝所受之分、強暴者由全能者所得之業、

爾曰、全能之上帝、報惡人、罰強暴、

天主為惡人所定之罰、強暴人由全能之主所得之報、今將言之、

“ Here is the fate God allots to the wicked, the heritage a ruthless man receives from the Almighty:

“ Here’s what God does to sinful people. Here’s what those who are mean receive from the Mighty One.

“ This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage that oppressors receive from the Almighty:

“ This is what the wicked will receive from God; this is their inheritance from the Almighty.

This is a wicked man’s lot from God, the inheritance the ruthless receive from the Almighty.

“ This is the portion of a wicked person from God, And the inheritance which tyrants receive from the Almighty:

“ This is the portion of a wicked man with God, And the heritage of oppressors, received from the Almighty:

This is the portion of a wicked man with God, And the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty:

This is a wicked man’s lot from God, the inheritance the ruthless receive from the Almighty.

This[ is] the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors,[ which] they shall receive of the Almighty.

This is the portion of the wicked man allotted by God, the inheritance that evildoers receive from the Almighty.

For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor. He has violently taken away a house, and he will not build it up.“ Because he knew no quietness within him, he will not save anything of that in which he delights.There was nothing left that he didn’t devour, therefore his prosperity will not endure.In the fullness of his sufficiency, distress will overtake him. The hand of everyone who is in misery will come on him.When he is about to fill his belly, God will cast the fierceness of his wrath on him. It will rain on him while he is eating.He will flee from the iron weapon. The bronze arrow will strike him through.He draws it out, and it comes out of his body. Yes, the glittering point comes out of his liver. Terrors are on him.All darkness is laid up for his treasures. An unfanned fire will devour him. It will consume that which is left in his tent.The heavens will reveal his iniquity. The earth will rise up against him.The increase of his house will depart. They will rush away in the day of his wrath.This is the portion of a wicked man from God, the heritage appointed to him by God.”

“ Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says Yahweh;“ I will set him in safety from those who malign him.”

the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,

the wicked man writhes in pain all his days, even the number of years that are laid up for the oppressor.A sound of terrors is in his ears. In prosperity the destroyer will come on him.He doesn’t believe that he will return out of darkness. He is waited for by the sword.He wanders abroad for bread, saying,‘ Where is it?’ He knows that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.Distress and anguish make him afraid. They prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.Because he has stretched out his hand against God, and behaves himself proudly against the Almighty,he runs at him with a stiff neck, with the thick shields of his bucklers,because he has covered his face with his fatness, and gathered fat on his thighs.He has lived in desolate cities, in houses which no one inhabited, which were ready to become heaps.He will not be rich, neither will his substance continue, neither will their possessions be extended on the earth.He will not depart out of darkness. The flame will dry up his branches. He will go away by the breath of God’s mouth.Let him not trust in emptiness, deceiving himself; for emptiness will be his reward.It will be accomplished before his time. His branch will not be green.He will shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and will cast off his flower as the olive tree.For the company of the godless will be barren, and fire will consume the tents of bribery.They conceive mischief, and produce iniquity. Their heart prepares deceit.”

Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them; for the deeds of his hands will be paid back to him.

I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the perjurers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don’t fear me,” says Yahweh of Armies.

Is it not calamity to the unrighteous, and disaster to the workers of iniquity?

On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.

Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies.You have lived in luxury on the earth, and taken your pleasure. You have nourished your hearts as in a day of slaughter.You have condemned and you have murdered the righteous one. He doesn’t resist you.

Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court;for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them.

But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he lengthen days like a shadow, because he doesn’t fear God.
