He covers the face of the full moon, spreading his clouds over it.

So the people stood at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

Then Solomon said,“ The Lord has said that He would dwell in the thick darkness.

He further said,“ You cannot see My face, for mankind shall not see Me and live!”Then the Lord said,“ Behold, there is a place by Me, and you shall stand there on the rock;and it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.Then I will take My hand away and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen.”

God comes from Teman, And the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His splendor covers the heavens, And the earth is full of His praise.His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, And the hiding of His might is there.Before Him goes plague, And plague comes forth after Him.
