He obscures the view of His throne, spreading His cloud over it.

He covers the face of the full moon, spreading his clouds over it.

And the people remained standing at a distance as Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

the only One who has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; no one has seen or can see Him, to Him be honor and eternal might. Amen.

No one may go up with you; in fact, no one must be seen anywhere on the mountain. Even the flocks and herds are not to graze in front of that mountain.”

Then Solomon said: The Lord said that He would dwell in thick darkness.

But He answered,“ You cannot see My face, for no one can see Me and live.”The Lord said,“ Here is a place near Me. You are to stand on the rock,and when My glory passes by, I will put you in the crevice of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.Then I will take My hand away, and you will see My back, but My face will not be seen.”

God comes from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His splendor covers the heavens, and the earth is full of His praise.His brilliance is like light; rays are flashing from His hand. This is where His power is hidden.Plague goes before Him, and pestilence follows in His steps.
