When his voice thunders, the heavenly ocean roars. He makes the clouds rise from the far-off horizons. He makes the lightning flash out in the midst of the rain. He unleashes the wind from the places where he stores it.

I will make it a wasteland; no one will prune its vines or hoe its ground, and thorns and briers will grow there. I will order the clouds not to drop any rain on it.

Stand still and consider the wonders God works.Do you know how God commands them, how he makes lightning flash in his storm cloud?Do you know about the balancing of the clouds, that wondrous activity of him who is perfect in knowledge?
