無知者、爾若何啟迪之、大顯實智、

爾所訓誨、非無智者乎、非欲以此彰爾明哲哉。

無知者、爾何嘗訓誨、何嘗顯示大智慧、或作爾所訓者誰豈無知者乎爾真顯大智慧以示之哉

What advice you have offered to one without wisdom! And what great insight you have displayed!

You haven’t offered advice to those who aren’t wise! In fact, you haven’t understood anything at all!

How you have counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

How you have enlightened my stupidity! What wise advice you have offered!

How you have counseled the unwise and abundantly provided insight!

What advice you have given to one without wisdom! What helpful insight you have abundantly provided!

How have you counseled one who has no wisdom? And how have you declared sound advice to many?

How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom, And plentifully declared sound knowledge!

How you have counseled the unwise and thoroughly explained the path to success!

How hast thou counselled[ him that hath] no wisdom? and[ how] hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

How you have advised the one without wisdom, and abundantly revealed your insight!

How have you counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

I waited while you spoke, I listened to your reasoning; while you were searching for words,I gave you my full attention. But not one of you has proved Job wrong; none of you has answered his arguments.Do not say,‘ We have found wisdom; let God, not a man, refute him.’ (niv)

Do I have any power to help myself, now that success has been driven from me? (niv)

My words come from an upright heart; my lips sincerely speak what I know. (niv)

But if not, then listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom.” (niv)

For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. (niv)

Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right.My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness.All the words of my mouth are just; none of them is crooked or perverse.To the discerning all of them are right; they are upright to those who have found knowledge. My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long— though I know not how to relate them all.I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone.Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come. Hear this, all you peoples; listen, all who live in this world,both low and high, rich and poor alike:My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the meditation of my heart will give you understanding.I will turn my ear to a proverb; with the harp I will expound my riddle: (niv)

If only you would be altogether silent! For you, that would be wisdom. (niv)

You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. (niv)
