How hast thou counselled[ him that hath] no wisdom? and[ how] hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

How you have advised the one without wisdom, and abundantly revealed your insight!

Behold, I waited for your words, I listened for your reasonings, Whilst ye searched out what to say.Yea, I attended unto you, And, behold, there was none that convinced Job, Or that answered his words, among you.Beware lest ye say, We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not man:

Is it not that I have no help in me, And that wisdom is driven quite from me?

My words shall utter the uprightness of my heart; And that which my lips know they shall speak sincerely.

If not, hearken thou unto me: Hold thy peace, and I will teach thee wisdom.

Who is this that darkeneth counsel By words without knowledge?

But as for you all, come on now again; And I shall not find a wise man among you.

My mouth shall tell of thy righteousness, And of thy salvation all the day; For I know not the numbers thereof.I will come with the mighty acts of the Lord Jehovah: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.O God, thou hast taught me from my youth; And hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.Yea, even when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not, Until I have declared thy strength unto the next generation, Thy might to every one that is to come.

Hear this, all ye peoples; Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world,Both low and high, Rich and poor together.My mouth shall speak wisdom; And the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

Oh that ye would altogether hold your peace! And it would be your wisdom.
