Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

这些不过是他的作为的一点点，我们从他那里所听到的，是多么的微小！他大能的雷声谁能够明白呢？”

看啊，這不過是祂作為的一斑，是我們聽到的少許回音！誰能領悟祂的雷霆萬鈞？」

這些不過是他的作為的一點點，我們從他那裡所聽到的，是多麼的微小！他大能的雷聲誰能夠明白呢？”

看哪，這不過是上帝行化之邊際；我們所聽於他的、是何等細微的低語啊！至於他大能之雷轟聲、誰能領會透呢？』

此其工作之末、我所聞之聲響、何其微小、至其力之雷霆、又孰能測之、

此其小者也、我所聞者止此、若夫雷霆轟烈、又孰能測之耶。

此天主經綸之少許、我儕所聞者亦祗此少許、天主發雷霆顯大力、誰能測之、

And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

Those are only on the edges of what he does. They are only the soft whispers that we hear from him. So who can understand how very powerful he is?”

Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

These are just the beginning of all that he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of his power?”

These are but the fringes of his ways; how faint is the word we hear of him! Who can understand his mighty thunder?

Behold, these are the fringes of His ways; And how faint a word we hear of Him! But His mighty thunder, who can understand?”

Indeed these are the mere edges of His ways, And how small a whisper we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?”

Lo, these are but the outskirts of his ways: And how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?

These are but the fringes of His ways; how faint is the word we hear of Him! Who can understand His mighty thunder?

Lo, these[ are] parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

Indeed, these are but the outer fringes of his ways! How faint is the whisper we hear of him! But who can understand the thunder of his power?”

“ Now a thing was secretly brought to me. My ear received a whisper of it.

“ Can you fathom the mystery of God? Or can you probe the limits of the Almighty?They are high as heaven. What can you do? They are deeper than Sheol. What can you know?Its measure is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

This knowledge is beyond me. It’s lofty. I can’t attain it.

Yes, can any understand the spreading of the clouds, and the thunderings of his pavilion?

For we know in part and we prophesy in part;but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with.When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known.

Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?

Those who strive with Yahweh shall be broken to pieces. He will thunder against them in the sky.“ Yahweh will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised! His greatness is unsearchable.

Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these, who brings out their army by number. He calls them all by name. by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, not one is lacking.Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel,“ My way is hidden from Yahweh, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God?”Haven’t you known? Haven’t you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable.He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.

Yahweh’s voice is on the waters. The God of glory thunders, even Yahweh on many waters.

Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!
