这些不过是他的作为的一点点，我们从他那里所听到的，是多么的微小！他大能的雷声谁能够明白呢？”

看哪，這不過是上帝行化之邊際；我們所聽於他的、是何等細微的低語啊！至於他大能之雷轟聲、誰能領會透呢？』

此其工作之末、我所聞之聲響、何其微小、至其力之雷霆、又孰能測之、

此其小者也、我所聞者止此、若夫雷霆轟烈、又孰能測之耶。

此天主經綸之少許、我儕所聞者亦祗此少許、天主發雷霆顯大力、誰能測之、

And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

Those are only on the edges of what he does. They are only the soft whispers that we hear from him. So who can understand how very powerful he is?”

Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

These are just the beginning of all that he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of his power?”

These are but the fringes of his ways; how faint is the word we hear of him! Who can understand his mighty thunder?

These are but the fringes of His ways; how faint is the word we hear of Him! Who can understand His mighty thunder?

“ Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?They are higher than the heavens above— what can you do? They are deeper than the depths below— what can you know?Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea. (niv)

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. (niv)

Who can understand how he spreads out the clouds, how he thunders from his pavilion? (niv)

For we know in part and we prophesy in part,but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. (niv)

Do you have an arm like God’s, and can your voice thunder like his? (niv)

those who oppose the Lord will be broken. The Most High will thunder from heaven; the Lord will judge the ends of the earth.“ He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.” (niv)

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. (niv)

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.Why do you complain, Jacob? Why do you say, Israel,“ My way is hidden from the Lord; my cause is disregarded by my God”?Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (niv)

The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters. (niv)

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! (niv)
