Behold, these are the fringes of His ways; And how faint a word we hear of Him! But His mighty thunder, who can understand?”

这些不过是他的作为的一点点，我们从他那里所听到的，是多么的微小！他大能的雷声谁能够明白呢？”

這些不過是他的作為的一點點，我們從他那裡所聽到的，是多麼的微小！他大能的雷聲誰能夠明白呢？”

看哪，這不過是上帝行化之邊際；我們所聽於他的、是何等細微的低語啊！至於他大能之雷轟聲、誰能領會透呢？』

此其工作之末、我所聞之聲響、何其微小、至其力之雷霆、又孰能測之、

此其小者也、我所聞者止此、若夫雷霆轟烈、又孰能測之耶。

此天主經綸之少許、我儕所聞者亦祗此少許、天主發雷霆顯大力、誰能測之、

And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

Those are only on the edges of what he does. They are only the soft whispers that we hear from him. So who can understand how very powerful he is?”

Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

These are just the beginning of all that he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of his power?”

These are but the fringes of his ways; how faint is the word we hear of him! Who can understand his mighty thunder?

Indeed these are the mere edges of His ways, And how small a whisper we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?”

Lo, these are but the outskirts of his ways: And how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?

These are but the fringes of His ways; how faint is the word we hear of Him! Who can understand His mighty thunder?

Lo, these[ are] parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

Indeed, these are but the outer fringes of his ways! How faint is the whisper we hear of him! But who can understand the thunder of his power?”

Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

“ Now a word was brought to me secretly, And my ear received a whisper of it.

“ Can you discover the depths of God? Can you discover the limits of the Almighty?They are as high as the heavens; what can you do? Deeper than Sheol; what can you know?Its measurement is longer than the earth And broader than the sea.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot comprehend it.

Can anyone understand the spreading of the clouds, The thundering of His pavilion?

For we know in part and prophesy in part;but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away with.When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I also have been fully known.

Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?

Those who contend with the Lord will be terrified; Against them He will thunder in the heavens, The Lord will judge the ends of the earth; And He will give strength to His king, And will exalt the horn of His anointed.”

Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.

Raise your eyes on high And see who has created these stars, The One who brings out their multitude by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, Not one of them is missing.Why do you say, Jacob, and you assert, Israel,“ My way is hidden from the Lord, And the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”?Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is unsearchable.He gives strength to the weary, And to the one who lacks might He increases power.

The voice of the Lord is on the waters; The God of glory thunders, The Lord is over many waters.

Oh, the depth of the riches, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
