看哪，這不過是上帝行化之邊際；我們所聽於他的、是何等細微的低語啊！至於他大能之雷轟聲、誰能領會透呢？』

看哪，这不过是神工作的些微；我们所听于他的是何等细微的声音！他大能的雷声谁能明透呢？”

看哪，这不过是上帝工作的些微；我们听见他的话，是何等细微的声音！他大能的雷声谁能明白呢？”

看哪，这不过是神工作的些微；我们听见他的话，是何等细微的声音！他大能的雷声谁能明白呢？”

看啊，这不过是祂作为的一斑，是我们听到的少许回音！谁能领悟祂的雷霆万钧？”

这些不过是他的作为的一点点，我们从他那里所听到的，是多么的微小！他大能的雷声谁能够明白呢？”

看哪，這不過是神工作的些微；我們所聽於他的是何等細微的聲音！他大能的雷聲誰能明透呢？

看哪，這不過是上帝工作的些微；我們聽見他的話，是何等細微的聲音！他大能的雷聲誰能明白呢？」

看啊，這不過是祂作為的一斑，是我們聽到的少許回音！誰能領悟祂的雷霆萬鈞？」

這些不過是他的作為的一點點，我們從他那裡所聽到的，是多麼的微小！他大能的雷聲誰能夠明白呢？”

此其工作之末、我所聞之聲響、何其微小、至其力之雷霆、又孰能測之、

此其小者也、我所聞者止此、若夫雷霆轟烈、又孰能測之耶。

此天主經綸之少許、我儕所聞者亦祗此少許、天主發雷霆顯大力、誰能測之、

And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

Those are only on the edges of what he does. They are only the soft whispers that we hear from him. So who can understand how very powerful he is?”

Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

These are just the beginning of all that he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of his power?”

These are but the fringes of his ways; how faint is the word we hear of him! Who can understand his mighty thunder?

Behold, these are the fringes of His ways; And how faint a word we hear of Him! But His mighty thunder, who can understand?”

Indeed these are the mere edges of His ways, And how small a whisper we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?”

Lo, these are but the outskirts of his ways: And how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?

These are but the fringes of His ways; how faint is the word we hear of Him! Who can understand His mighty thunder?

Lo, these[ are] parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

Indeed, these are but the outer fringes of his ways! How faint is the whisper we hear of him! But who can understand the thunder of his power?”

Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

有一件事暗暗傳達於我，我耳朵聽到其細微聲音。

『上帝之浩大莫測、你能查出麼？全能者之無極、你能查到麼？天之高——你能作甚麼？深於陰間——你能知道甚麼？其量度、比地長，比海寬。

這樣的知識太奇妙，我不能測；太高，我不能及。

誰能明白雲彩之鋪開，和上帝雲幕中的雷聲呢？

我們一點一點地知道，一點一點地傳講神言；那完全的一來到，這一點一點的就廢掉了。我做嬰孩的時候，說話是嬰孩，意念是嬰孩，理論是嬰孩。既長大成人，就把嬰孩的事廢掉了。我們現在對着鏡子觀看、在猜謎中；到那時就面對面了。我現在一點一點地認識；到那時就完全認識，如同完全被認識一樣。

你有上帝那樣的膀臂麼？你能用他那樣聲音發雷霆麼？

永恆主必打碎他的敵人；至高者在天上必大發雷霆。永恆主必懲罰地極的人；將力量賜給他所立的王，高舉他所膏立者的角。』

永恆主至大，當受極大的頌讚；他的至大、不可測度。

你們舉目向上觀看！誰創造這些星呢？是那按數目領其萬象而出、一一點名呼喚的呀；因他力氣大而能力強、沒有一個邋下的。雅各啊，你為甚麼說：『我的路隱藏着、永恆主見不着』？以色列啊，你為甚麼說：『我伸冤的權利、我的上帝都忽略了』？你不曾知道，不曾看見麼？永恆的上帝永恆之主、創造地之儘邊的、他並不疲乏，也不困倦；他的明智不可測度。疲乏的、他賜能力；無氣力的、他給增加力量。

永恆主的聲音在眾水上；榮耀的上帝在打雷，永恆主打雷於大水之上。

極深哪！上帝智慧與知識之豐富啊！他的判斷、多麼不能探索啊！他的道路、多麼追蹤不盡啊！
