When you send your life-giving breath, they are created, and you replenish the surface of the ground.

So that huge dragon– the ancient serpent, the one called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world– was thrown down to the earth, and his angels along with him.

You destroyed the sea by your strength; you shattered the heads of the sea monster in the water.You crushed the heads of Leviathan; you fed him to the people who live along the coast.

By the LORD’s decree the heavens were made; by a mere word from his mouth all the stars in the sky were created.He piles up the water of the sea; he puts the oceans in storehouses.

Now the earth was without shape and empty, and darkness was over the surface of the watery deep, but the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the water.
