以其能平靜滄海、以其智擊破波濤、

以大能使海洶湧、以智慧擊傷拉哈伯、又作以大能使海恬靜以智慧制伏波濤

By his power he churned up the sea; by his wisdom he cut Rahab to pieces.

With his power he stirred up the oceans. In his wisdom he cut the sea monster Rahab to pieces.

By his power he stilled the sea; by his understanding he shattered Rahab.

By his power the sea grew calm. By his skill he crushed the great sea monster.

By his power he stirred the sea, and by his understanding he crushed Rahab.

With His power He quieted the sea, And by His understanding He shattered Rahab.

He stirs up the sea with His power, And by His understanding He breaks up the storm.

He stirreth up the sea with his power, And by his understanding he smiteth through Rahab.

By His power He stirred the sea, and by His understanding He crushed Rahab.

He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.

By his power he stills the sea; by his wisdom he cut Rahab the great sea monster to pieces.

He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.

我名萬有之主、耶和華為爾上帝、海濤澎湃、我能使之恬靜。

耶和華晝使日華照爍、夜使星月交輝、永定其例、海水澎湃、叱之使靜、厥名萬有之主耶和華。

海之洪濤、爾所治理、水波澎湃、爾使之不揚兮、爾使喇合糜爛、如遭殺戮、爾展巨能、俾敵離散兮、

先知祈曰、願耶和華、勃然而興、展厥臂力、與昔無異、昔滅喇合、擊鱷魚、豈非爾乎、

其怒未息、強者慴之。

耶和華在波之際、永世為王兮、

當時猶大地、為其聖所、以色列族、為其畿輔兮、滄海因之而中判、約但因之而回流兮、山巒搖撼、有若牡羊羔羊、以踴以躍兮。滄海何為中判兮、約但何為回流兮、山巒何為搖撼、有若牡羊、有若羔羊、踴躍靡定兮、雅各之上帝耶和華、以磐為沼、以石為泉、大地亦必震動於其前兮。

上帝無不知、無不能、謀猷允臧、聰明克備。

耶和華兮、波濤澎湃、其聲噌吰兮、維爾巍巍、勝於海濤之洶湧兮、

彼賜我莫大之恩、故曰、驕泰者、上帝擯斥、卑遜者、上帝賜恩、

故我尼布甲尼撒、頌美稱譽天王、其所為者惟秉大公、真實無妄、惟驕其志者、上帝使之卑微。

昔爾展厥能力、使大海中判、巨魚立毀、

摩西指海、耶和華使東風驟起、飄揚永夕、水退海判、其間若陸地。以色列族行於海中、若履陸地、左右水如壁立。埃及人車馬、與法老軍旅襲其後、至海中、昧爽火雲若柱、耶和華於其中俯視埃及營、亂其行伍、脫其車輪、使之難行。埃及人曰、耶和華助以色列族而攻我、我其遁。耶和華諭摩西曰、以手指海、使水反淹其軍、以及車馬。摩西指海、黎明水合如故。埃及人趨而避、耶和華使水阻其前、淹之於海。蓋法老率車馬軍旅、入於海中、襲以色列族後、海水回流、軍俱覆沒、靡有孑遺。惟以色列族、行於海中、如履陸地、左右水如壁立。是日耶和華拯以色列族、脫於埃及人手、埃及人之屍浮於海濱。以色列人目擊之。耶和華以大能降罰於埃及人、以色列族見而寅畏、篤信耶和華、亦信其僕摩西。

時日將至、萬有之主耶和華、必折驕矜者之氣、使自高者降而為卑。

爾施震怒、使矜高者卑微、驕肆者喪敗、作惡者蹂躪。
