“ Dominion and awe belong to God; he establishes order in the heights of heaven.

“ God is King. He should be feared. He establishes peace in the highest parts of heaven.

“ Dominion and fear are with God; he makes peace in his high heaven.

“ God is powerful and dreadful. He enforces peace in the heavens.

Dominion and dread belong to him, the one who establishes harmony in his heights.

“ Dominion and awe belong to Him Who makes peace in His heights.

Dominion and dread belong to Him, the One who establishes harmony in the heavens.

and through him to reconcile all things unto himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, I say, whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens.

which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Of a truth I know that it is so: But how can man be just with God?If he be pleased to contend with him, He cannot answer him one of a thousand.He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?—Him that removeth the mountains, and they know it not, When he overturneth them in his anger;That shaketh the earth out of its place, And the pillars thereof tremble;That commandeth the sun, and it riseth not, And sealeth up the stars;That alone stretcheth out the heavens, And treadeth upon the waves of the sea;That maketh the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south;That doeth great things past finding out, Yea, marvellous things without number.

They that are deceased tremble Beneath the waters and the inhabitants thereof.Sheol is naked before God, And Abaddon hath no covering.He stretcheth out the north over empty space, And hangeth the earth upon nothing.He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; And the cloud is not rent under them.He incloseth the face of his throne, And spreadeth his cloud upon it.He hath described a boundary upon the face of the waters, Unto the confines of light and darkness.The pillars of heaven tremble And are astonished at his rebuke.He stirreth up the sea with his power, And by his understanding he smiteth through Rahab.By his Spirit the heavens are garnished; His hand hath pierced the swift serpent.Lo, these are but the outskirts of his ways: And how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?

I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him that is far off and to him that is near, saith Jehovah; and I will heal him.

Jehovah reigneth; let the peoples tremble: He sitteth above the cherubim; let the earth be moved.Jehovah is great in Zion; And he is high above all the peoples.Let them praise thy great and terrible name: Holy is he.

and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Thine, O Jehovah, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Jehovah, and thou art exalted as head above all.Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou rulest over all; and in thy hand is power and might; and in thy hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

There is none like unto thee, O Jehovah; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.Who should not fear thee, O King of the nations? for to thee doth it appertain; forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their royal estate, there is none like unto thee.

to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for evermore. Amen.

and might reconcile them both in one body unto God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:and he came and preached peace to you that were far off, and peace to them that were nigh:

Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity; And array thyself with honor and majesty.Pour forth the overflowings of thine anger; And look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; And tread down the wicked where they stand.Hide them in the dust together; Bind their faces in the hidden place.Then will I also confess of thee That thine own right hand can save thee.

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.

But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation;to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation.We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God.Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

And at the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him that liveth for ever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation;and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?At the same time mine understanding returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added unto me.Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.

And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
