我又觀看，見有一片白雲，雲上坐著一位好像人子的，頭上戴著金冠，手裡拿著鋒利的鐮刀。有另一位天使從聖所出來，對那坐在雲上的大聲呼喊：“伸出你的鐮刀來收割吧！因為收割的時候已經到了，地上的莊稼已經熟透了。”於是那坐在雲上的向地上揮動鐮刀，地上的莊稼就被收割了。又有另一位天使從天上的聖所出來，他也拿著一把鋒利的鐮刀。接著，又有一位天使從祭壇那裡出來，是有權柄掌管火的；他向那拿著鋒利鐮刀的天使大聲說：“伸出你鋒利的鐮刀來，收取地上葡萄樹纍纍的果子吧！因為葡萄已經熟透了。”於是，那天使向地上揮動鐮刀，收取了地上的葡萄，把葡萄扔在神烈怒的大壓酒池裡。那壓酒池在城外被踹踏，就有血從壓酒池流出來，漲到馬的嚼環那麼高，流到三百公里（“三百公里”原文作“一千六百司他町”）那麼遠。

他們忽然間成了多麼荒涼，被突然的驚恐完全消滅。

惡人雖好像草一樣繁茂，所有作孽的人雖然興旺，他們都要永遠滅亡。

你們富有的人哪，應當為那將要臨到你們的災禍哭泣哀號。你們的財物朽壞了，你們的衣服給蛀了，你們的金銀生鏽，這鏽要成為控告你們的鐵證，又要像火一樣吞吃你們的肉。你們竟然在這末後的日子積聚財寶。

太陽一出，熱風一吹，草必枯乾，花必凋謝，它的美容就消失了；富足的人也必在他的奔波經營中這樣衰落。

我曾看見強暴的惡人興旺，像樹木在本土茂盛。但他很快就消逝，不再存在了；我尋找他，卻找不到。

恨你的都必以羞恥為衣，惡人的帳棚必歸於無有。”

就像收割的人收聚莊稼，用手割取穗子；又像人在利乏音谷，拾取遺落的穗子。雖然其中有少許遺下的穗子，卻好像橄欖樹被打過一樣。在樹頂上，只剩下兩三個果子；在那本是多結果子的果樹枝上，只留下四五個果子。”這是耶和華以色列的神說的。

惡人的歡呼並不長久，不敬虔者的快樂，不過是暫時的嗎？
