我又观看，见有一片白云，云上坐着一位好像人子的，头上戴着金冠，手里拿着锋利的镰刀。有另一位天使从圣所出来，对那坐在云上的大声呼喊：“伸出你的镰刀来收割吧！因为收割的时候已经到了，地上的庄稼已经熟透了。”于是那坐在云上的向地上挥动镰刀，地上的庄稼就被收割了。又有另一位天使从天上的圣所出来，他也拿着一把锋利的镰刀。接着，又有一位天使从祭坛那里出来，是有权柄掌管火的；他向那拿着锋利镰刀的天使大声说：“伸出你锋利的镰刀来，收取地上葡萄树累累的果子吧！因为葡萄已经熟透了。”于是，那天使向地上挥动镰刀，收取了地上的葡萄，把葡萄扔在神烈怒的大压酒池里。那压酒池在城外被踹踏，就有血从压酒池流出来，涨到马的嚼环那么高，流到三百公里（“三百公里”原文作“一千六百司他町”）那么远。

他们忽然间成了多么荒凉，被突然的惊恐完全消灭。

恶人虽好像草一样繁茂，所有作孽的人虽然兴旺，他们都要永远灭亡。

你们富有的人哪，应当为那将要临到你们的灾祸哭泣哀号。你们的财物朽坏了，你们的衣服给蛀了，你们的金银生锈，这锈要成为控告你们的铁证，又要像火一样吞吃你们的肉。你们竟然在这末后的日子积聚财宝。

太阳一出，热风一吹，草必枯干，花必凋谢，它的美容就消失了；富足的人也必在他的奔波经营中这样衰落。

我曾看见强暴的恶人兴旺，像树木在本土茂盛。但他很快就消逝，不再存在了；我寻找他，却找不到。

恨你的都必以羞耻为衣，恶人的帐棚必归于无有。”

就像收割的人收聚庄稼，用手割取穗子；又像人在利乏音谷，拾取遗落的穗子。虽然其中有少许遗下的穗子，却好像橄榄树被打过一样。在树顶上，只剩下两三个果子；在那本是多结果子的果树枝上，只留下四五个果子。”这是耶和华以色列的神说的。

恶人的欢呼并不长久，不敬虔者的快乐，不过是暂时的吗？
