As drought and heat consume the snow waters, So the grave consumes those who have sinned.

干旱炎热消没雪水；阴间也如此消没犯罪之辈。

干旱炎热融化雪水；阴间也如此吞没犯罪的人。

干旱炎热融化雪水；阴间也如此吞没犯罪的人。

阴间吞噬犯罪之人，如同干热吞噬融雪。

干旱与炎热怎样消除雪水，阴间也这样除去犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱消沒雪水；陰間也如此消沒犯罪之輩。

乾旱炎熱融化雪水；陰間也如此吞沒犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱融化雪水；陰間也如此吞沒犯罪的人。

陰間吞噬犯罪之人，如同乾熱吞噬融雪。

乾旱與炎熱怎樣消除雪水，陰間也這樣除去犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱奪取了雪水，使它乾涸；陰間也擄了罪惡之輩而使滅沒。

亢旱酷熱、消沒雪水、陰府消沒罪人、

亢陽酷暑、雪水漸消、惡者之入墓、亦若是。

雪水遇亢旱酷熱、立即消涸、有罪者下示阿勒示阿勒見七章九節小註亦若是、

As heat and drought snatch away the melted snow, so the grave snatches away those who have sinned.

Melted snow disappears when the air is hot and dry. And sinners disappear when they go down into their graves.

Drought and heat snatch away the snow waters; so does Sheol those who have sinned.

The grave consumes sinners just as drought and heat consume snow.

As dry ground and heat snatch away the melted snow, so Sheol steals those who have sinned.

Dryness and heat snatch away the snow waters, As Sheol snatches those who have sinned.

Drought and heat consume the snow waters: So doth Sheol those that have sinned.

They spend their days in wealth, And in a moment go down to the grave.

Like sheep they are laid in the grave; Death shall feed on them; The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; And their beauty shall be consumed in the grave, far from their dwelling.

As smoke is driven away, So drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion.For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, And they have no more reward, For the memory of them is forgotten.Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; Nevermore will they have a share In anything done under the sun.

The wicked is banished in his wickedness, But the righteous has a refuge in his death.

But God said to him,‘ Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’

Let them be like a snail which melts away as it goes, Like a stillborn child of a woman, that they may not see the sun.Before your pots can feel the burning thorns, He shall take them away as with a whirlwind, As in His living and burning wrath.

My brothers have dealt deceitfully like a brook, Like the streams of the brooks that pass away,Which are dark because of the ice, And into which the snow vanishes.When it is warm, they cease to flow; When it is hot, they vanish from their place.
