As heat and drought snatch away the melted snow, so the grave snatches away those who have sinned.

干旱炎热消没雪水；阴间也如此消没犯罪之辈。

干旱炎热融化雪水；阴间也如此吞没犯罪的人。

干旱炎热融化雪水；阴间也如此吞没犯罪的人。

阴间吞噬犯罪之人，如同干热吞噬融雪。

干旱与炎热怎样消除雪水，阴间也这样除去犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱消沒雪水；陰間也如此消沒犯罪之輩。

乾旱炎熱融化雪水；陰間也如此吞沒犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱融化雪水；陰間也如此吞沒犯罪的人。

陰間吞噬犯罪之人，如同乾熱吞噬融雪。

乾旱與炎熱怎樣消除雪水，陰間也這樣除去犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱奪取了雪水，使它乾涸；陰間也擄了罪惡之輩而使滅沒。

亢旱酷熱、消沒雪水、陰府消沒罪人、

亢陽酷暑、雪水漸消、惡者之入墓、亦若是。

雪水遇亢旱酷熱、立即消涸、有罪者下示阿勒示阿勒見七章九節小註亦若是、

Melted snow disappears when the air is hot and dry. And sinners disappear when they go down into their graves.

Drought and heat snatch away the snow waters; so does Sheol those who have sinned.

The grave consumes sinners just as drought and heat consume snow.

As dry ground and heat snatch away the melted snow, so Sheol steals those who have sinned.

Dryness and heat snatch away the snow waters, As Sheol snatches those who have sinned.

As drought and heat consume the snow waters, So the grave consumes those who have sinned.

Drought and heat consume the snow waters: So doth Sheol those that have sinned.

As dry ground and heat snatch away the melted snow, so Sheol steals those who have sinned.

Drought and heat consume the snow waters:[ so doth] the grave[ those which] have sinned.

The drought as well as the heat carry away the melted snow; so the grave takes away those who have sinned.

Drought and heat consume the snow waters, so does Sheol those who have sinned.

They spend their years in prosperity and go down to the grave in peace.

They are like sheep and are destined to die; death will be their shepherd( but the upright will prevail over them in the morning). Their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions.

May you blow them away like smoke— as wax melts before the fire, may the wicked perish before God.

Anyone who is among the living has hope— even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished; never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun.

When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous seek refuge in God.

“ But God said to him,‘ You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

“ The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.

One person dies in full vigor, completely secure and at ease,

They are carried to the grave, and watch is kept over their tombs.The soil in the valley is sweet to them; everyone follows after them, and a countless throng goes before them.“ So how can you console me with your nonsense? Nothing is left of your answers but falsehood!”

May they be like a slug that melts away as it moves along, like a stillborn child that never sees the sun.Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns— whether they be green or dry— the wicked will be swept away.

But my brothers are as undependable as intermittent streams, as the streams that overflowwhen darkened by thawing ice and swollen with melting snow,but that stop flowing in the dry season, and in the heat vanish from their channels.
