Dryness and heat snatch away the snow waters, As Sheol snatches those who have sinned.

干旱炎热消没雪水；阴间也如此消没犯罪之辈。

干旱炎热融化雪水；阴间也如此吞没犯罪的人。

干旱炎热融化雪水；阴间也如此吞没犯罪的人。

阴间吞噬犯罪之人，如同干热吞噬融雪。

干旱与炎热怎样消除雪水，阴间也这样除去犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱消沒雪水；陰間也如此消沒犯罪之輩。

乾旱炎熱融化雪水；陰間也如此吞沒犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱融化雪水；陰間也如此吞沒犯罪的人。

陰間吞噬犯罪之人，如同乾熱吞噬融雪。

乾旱與炎熱怎樣消除雪水，陰間也這樣除去犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱奪取了雪水，使它乾涸；陰間也擄了罪惡之輩而使滅沒。

亢旱酷熱、消沒雪水、陰府消沒罪人、

亢陽酷暑、雪水漸消、惡者之入墓、亦若是。

雪水遇亢旱酷熱、立即消涸、有罪者下示阿勒示阿勒見七章九節小註亦若是、

As heat and drought snatch away the melted snow, so the grave snatches away those who have sinned.

Melted snow disappears when the air is hot and dry. And sinners disappear when they go down into their graves.

Drought and heat snatch away the snow waters; so does Sheol those who have sinned.

The grave consumes sinners just as drought and heat consume snow.

As dry ground and heat snatch away the melted snow, so Sheol steals those who have sinned.

As drought and heat consume the snow waters, So the grave consumes those who have sinned.

Drought and heat consume the snow waters: So doth Sheol those that have sinned.

The drought as well as the heat carry away the melted snow; so the grave takes away those who have sinned.

Drought and heat consume the snow waters, so does Sheol those who have sinned.

They spend their days in prosperity, And suddenly they go down to Sheol.

Like sheep they sink down to Sheol; Death will be their shepherd; And the upright will rule over them in the morning, And their form shall be for Sheol to consume So that they have no lofty home.

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; As wax melts before a fire, So the wicked will perish before God.

For whoever is joined to all the living, there is hope; for better a live dog, than a dead lion.For the living know that they will die; but the dead do not know anything, nor do they have a reward any longer, for their memory is forgotten.Indeed their love, their hate, and their zeal have already perished, and they will no longer have a share in all that is done under the sun.

The wicked is thrust down by his own wrongdoing, But the righteous has a refuge when he dies.

But God said to him,‘ You fool! This very night your soul is demanded of you; and as for all that you have prepared, who will own it now?’

Now it happened that the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s arms; and the rich man also died and was buried.

One dies in his full strength, Being wholly undisturbed and at ease;

When he is carried to the grave, People will keep watch over his tomb.The clods of the valley will gently cover him; Moreover, all mankind will follow after him, While countless others go before him.So how dare you give me empty comfort? For your answers remain nothing but falsehood!”

May they be like a snail which goes along in slime, Like the miscarriage of a woman that never sees the sun.Before your pots can feel the fire of thorns He will sweep them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.

My brothers have acted deceitfully like a wadi, Like the torrents of wadis which drain away,Which are darkened because of ice, And into which the snow melts.When they dry up, they vanish; When it is hot, they disappear from their place.
