Drought and heat snatch away the snow waters; so does Sheol those who have sinned.

干旱炎热消没雪水；阴间也如此消没犯罪之辈。

干旱炎热融化雪水；阴间也如此吞没犯罪的人。

干旱炎热融化雪水；阴间也如此吞没犯罪的人。

阴间吞噬犯罪之人，如同干热吞噬融雪。

干旱与炎热怎样消除雪水，阴间也这样除去犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱消沒雪水；陰間也如此消沒犯罪之輩。

乾旱炎熱融化雪水；陰間也如此吞沒犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱融化雪水；陰間也如此吞沒犯罪的人。

陰間吞噬犯罪之人，如同乾熱吞噬融雪。

乾旱與炎熱怎樣消除雪水，陰間也這樣除去犯罪的人。

乾旱炎熱奪取了雪水，使它乾涸；陰間也擄了罪惡之輩而使滅沒。

亢旱酷熱、消沒雪水、陰府消沒罪人、

亢陽酷暑、雪水漸消、惡者之入墓、亦若是。

雪水遇亢旱酷熱、立即消涸、有罪者下示阿勒示阿勒見七章九節小註亦若是、

As heat and drought snatch away the melted snow, so the grave snatches away those who have sinned.

Melted snow disappears when the air is hot and dry. And sinners disappear when they go down into their graves.

The grave consumes sinners just as drought and heat consume snow.

As dry ground and heat snatch away the melted snow, so Sheol steals those who have sinned.

Dryness and heat snatch away the snow waters, As Sheol snatches those who have sinned.

As drought and heat consume the snow waters, So the grave consumes those who have sinned.

Drought and heat consume the snow waters: So doth Sheol those that have sinned.

As dry ground and heat snatch away the melted snow, so Sheol steals those who have sinned.

Drought and heat consume the snow waters:[ so doth] the grave[ those which] have sinned.

The drought as well as the heat carry away the melted snow; so the grave takes away those who have sinned.

Drought and heat consume the snow waters, so does Sheol those who have sinned.

They spend their days in prosperity, and in peace they go down to Sheol.

Like sheep they are appointed for Sheol; death shall be their shepherd, and the upright shall rule over them in the morning. Their form shall be consumed in Sheol, with no place to dwell.

As smoke is driven away, so you shall drive them away; as wax melts before fire, so the wicked shall perish before God!

But he who is joined with all the living has hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion.For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun.

The wicked is overthrown through his evildoing, but the righteous finds refuge in his death.

But God said to him,‘ Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’

The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried,

One dies in his full vigor, being wholly at ease and secure,

When he is carried to the grave, watch is kept over his tomb.The clods of the valley are sweet to him; all mankind follows after him, and those who go before him are innumerable.How then will you comfort me with empty nothings? There is nothing left of your answers but falsehood.”

Let them be like the snail that dissolves into slime, like the stillborn child who never sees the sun.Sooner than your pots can feel the heat of thorns, whether green or ablaze, may he sweep them away!

My brothers are treacherous as a torrent-bed, as torrential streams that pass away,which are dark with ice, and where the snow hides itself.When they melt, they disappear; when it is hot, they vanish from their place.
