He[ is] swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.

這些惡人如水面上飄浮的東西迅速流逝，他們在世上所得的分被咒詛，他們不能再走葡萄園的路。

『惡人如在水面上輕快地過去；他們在地上所得的分兒被咒詛；他們不得再回轉而走葡萄園之路。

爾曰、惡人速亡、如物泛水、其業見詛於地、不得復入其葡萄園、

彼若萍蹤、飄流靡定、有田不耕、有園不植。

夜間潛行、如水面輕舟、其事業在世為可詛、不專以耕植田園為務、

“ Yet they are foam on the surface of the water; their portion of the land is cursed, so that no one goes to the vineyards.

“ But sinners are like bubbles on the surface of water. Their share of the land is under God’s curse. So no one goes to their vineyards.

“ You say,‘ Swift are they on the face of the waters; their portion is cursed in the land; no treader turns toward their vineyards.

“ But they disappear like foam down a river. Everything they own is cursed, and they are afraid to enter their own vineyards.

They float on the surface of the water. Their section of the land is cursed, so that they never go to their vineyards.

“ They are insignificant on the surface of the water; Their plot of land on the earth is cursed. They do not turn toward the vineyards.

“ They should be swift on the face of the waters, Their portion should be cursed in the earth, So that no one would turn into the way of their vineyards.

Swiftly they pass away upon the face of the waters; Their portion is cursed in the earth: They turn not into the way of the vineyards.

They float on the surface of the water. Their section of the land is cursed, so that they never go to their vineyards.

“ You say,‘ He is foam on the face of the waters; their portion of the land is cursed so that no one goes to their vineyard.

“ They are foam on the surface of the waters. Their portion is cursed in the earth. They don’t turn into the way of the vineyards.

The curse of the LORD[ is] in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood:

They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle[ that] hasteth to the prey.

Let their table become a snare before them: and[ that which should have been] for[ their] welfare,[ let it become] a trap.

Cursed[ shalt] thou[ be] in the city, and cursed[ shalt] thou[ be] in the field.Cursed[ shall be] thy basket and thy store.Cursed[ shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.Cursed[ shalt] thou[ be] when thou comest in, and cursed[ shalt] thou[ be] when thou goest out.The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.

Let them melt away as waters[ which] run continually:[ when] he bendeth[ his bow to shoot] his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.

If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay[ it] to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay[ it] to heart.

Pass through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish:[ there is] no more strength.

Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.How are they[ brought] into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.As a dream when[ one] awaketh;[ so], O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
