彼若萍蹤、飄流靡定、有田不耕、有園不植。

夜間潛行、如水面輕舟、其事業在世為可詛、不專以耕植田園為務、

Swiftly they pass away upon the face of the waters; Their portion is cursed in the earth: They turn not into the way of the vineyards.

They sweep by like boats made of papyrus, like an eagle swooping down on its prey.

Let their table set before them be a snare, and let it be a trap for their allies.

You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.Your basket and kneading bowl will be cursed.Your offspring will be cursed, and your land’s produce, the young of your herds, and the newborn of your flocks.You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.The LORD will send against you curses, confusion, and rebuke in everything you do until you are destroyed and quickly perish, because of the wickedness of your actions in abandoning me.

May they vanish like water that flows by; may they aim their blunted arrows.

If you don’t listen, and if you don’t take it to heart to honor my name,” says the LORD of Armies,“ I will send a curse among you, and I will curse your blessings. In fact, I have already begun to curse them because you are not taking it to heart.

Overflow your land like the Nile, daughter of Tarshish; there is no longer anything to restrain you.
