使人赤身无衣，到处流行，且因饥饿扛抬禾捆，

困苦人赤身无衣，到处流浪，饿着肚子扛抬禾捆，

困苦人赤身无衣，到处流浪，饿着肚子扛抬禾捆，

使他们赤身露体地流浪，饿着肚子扛禾捆。

因此穷人赤身露体流浪，他们因饥饿就抬走禾捆；

使人赤身無衣，到處流行，且因飢餓扛擡禾捆，

困苦人赤身無衣，到處流浪，餓着肚子扛抬禾捆，

困苦人赤身無衣，到處流浪，餓着肚子扛抬禾捆，

使他們赤身露體地流浪，餓著肚子扛禾捆。

因此窮人赤身露體流浪，他們因飢餓就抬走禾捆；

窮人赤身無衣地流浪；食而不飽地扛抬禾捆；

使之無衣、裸體游行、枵腹而負禾束、

使彼裸體從其後、枵腹負其禾、

使之無衣、裸身而行、又使之饑負禾束、

Lacking clothes, they go about naked; they carry the sheaves, but still go hungry.

The poor don’t have any clothes. They go around naked. They carry bundles of grain, but they still go hungry.

They go about naked, without clothing; hungry, they carry the sheaves;

The poor must go about naked, without any clothing. They harvest food for others while they themselves are starving.

The poor move about naked without clothing, And they carry sheaves, while going hungry.

So that they go about naked without clothing, And being hungry they carry the sheaves.

They trample the heads of the poor on the dust of the ground and obstruct the path of the needy. A man and his father have sexual relations with the same girl, profaning my holy name.They stretch out beside every altar on garments taken as collateral, and in the house of their God they drink wine obtained through fines.

Therefore, because you trample on the poor and exact a grain tax from him, you will never live in the houses of cut stone you have built; you will never drink the wine from the lush vineyards you have planted.For I know your crimes are many and your sins innumerable. They oppress the righteous, take a bribe, and deprive the poor of justice at the city gates.

“ When you reap the harvest in your field, and you forget a sheaf in the field, do not go back to get it. It is to be left for the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
