“ Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment? Why must those who know him look in vain for such days?

“全能者为何不定下审判的日期？为何信靠祂的人要空等一场？

“为什么全能者不保留赏善罚恶的时间？为什么认识他的人不能看见他的日子？

全能者既定期罰惡，為何不使認識他的人看見那日子呢？

「全能者為何不定下審判的日期？為何信靠祂的人要空等一場？

“為甚麼全能者不保留賞善罰惡的時間？為甚麼認識他的人不能看見他的日子？

『為甚麼全能者既不將罰惡的日期貯藏着，又不使認識他的人望見那日子呢？

全能者既定鞫期、識之者何不見其日乎、

全能之主、知無不周、既定期罰惡、何不使善者見之。

凡所遇之事、所遇之事原文作時期既不能隱於全能之主、又作全能之主何不備定審鞫之期識主之人、何不得見其降罰之日、

“ Why doesn’t the Mighty One set a time for judging sinful people? Why do those who know him have to keep waiting for that day?

“ Why are not times of judgment kept by the Almighty, and why do those who know him never see his days?

“ Why doesn’t the Almighty bring the wicked to judgment? Why must the godly wait for him in vain?

Why does the Almighty not reserve times for judgment? Why do those who know him never see his days?

“ Why are times not stored up by the Almighty, And why do those who know Him not see His days?

“ Since times are not hidden from the Almighty, Why do those who know Him see not His days?

Why are times not laid up by the Almighty? And why do not they that know him see his days?

Why does the Almighty not reserve times for judgment? Why do those who know Him never see His days?

Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?

“ Why are times not appointed by the Almighty? Why do those who know him not see his days?

“ Why aren’t times laid up by the Almighty? Why don’t those who know him see his days?

He said to them:“ It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.

I said to myself,“ God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.”

For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a person may be weighed down by misery.Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?

By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.Moreover, no one knows when their hour will come: As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so people are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them.

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.

You are always righteous, Lord, when I bring a case before you. Yet I would speak with you about your justice: Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease?You have planted them, and they have taken root; they grow and bear fruit. You are always on their lips but far from their hearts.Yet you know me, Lord; you see me and test my thoughts about you. Drag them off like sheep to be butchered! Set them apart for the day of slaughter!

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Then the Lord said,“ The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievousthat I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know.”

Then the Lord said,“ Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?

But that day belongs to the Lord, the Lord Almighty— a day of vengeance, for vengeance on his foes. The sword will devour till it is satisfied, till it has quenched its thirst with blood. For the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will offer sacrifice in the land of the north by the River Euphrates.

From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.

Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.

The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.”

My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.

When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeplytill I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny.Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin.How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors!

The Lord Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted( and they will be humbled),

which God will bring about in his own time— God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords,

Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you,

For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
