Why does the Almighty not reserve times for judgment? Why do those who know him never see his days?

“全能者既定期罚恶，为何不使认识他的人看见那日子呢？

“为何全能者不定下期限？为何认识他的人看不到那些日子呢？

“为何全能者不定下期限？为何认识他的人看不到那些日子呢？

“全能者为何不定下审判的日期？为何信靠祂的人要空等一场？

“为什么全能者不保留赏善罚恶的时间？为什么认识他的人不能看见他的日子？

全能者既定期罰惡，為何不使認識他的人看見那日子呢？

「全能者為何不定下審判的日期？為何信靠祂的人要空等一場？

“為甚麼全能者不保留賞善罰惡的時間？為甚麼認識他的人不能看見他的日子？

『為甚麼全能者既不將罰惡的日期貯藏着，又不使認識他的人望見那日子呢？

全能者既定鞫期、識之者何不見其日乎、

全能之主、知無不周、既定期罰惡、何不使善者見之。

凡所遇之事、所遇之事原文作時期既不能隱於全能之主、又作全能之主何不備定審鞫之期識主之人、何不得見其降罰之日、

“ Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment? Why must those who know him look in vain for such days?

“ Why doesn’t the Mighty One set a time for judging sinful people? Why do those who know him have to keep waiting for that day?

“ Why are not times of judgment kept by the Almighty, and why do those who know him never see his days?

“ Why doesn’t the Almighty bring the wicked to judgment? Why must the godly wait for him in vain?

“ Why are times not stored up by the Almighty, And why do those who know Him not see His days?

“ Since times are not hidden from the Almighty, Why do those who know Him see not His days?

Why are times not laid up by the Almighty? And why do not they that know him see his days?

Why does the Almighty not reserve times for judgment? Why do those who know Him never see His days?

Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?

“ Why are times not appointed by the Almighty? Why do those who know him not see his days?

“ Why aren’t times laid up by the Almighty? Why don’t those who know him see his days?

He said to them,“ It is not for you to know times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.

I said to myself,“ God will judge the righteous and the wicked, since there is a time for every activity and every work.”

For every activity there is a right time and procedure, even though a person’s troubles are heavy on him.Yet no one knows what will happen because who can tell him what will happen?

By the same word, the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.Dear friends, don’t overlook this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.

Again I saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, or the battle to the strong, or bread to the wise, or riches to the discerning, or favor to the skillful; rather, time and chance happen to all of them.For certainly no one knows his time: like fish caught in a cruel net or like birds caught in a trap, so people are trapped in an evil time as it suddenly falls on them.

Those who know your name trust in you because you have not abandoned those who seek you, LORD.

because these are days of vengeance to fulfill all the things that are written.Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days, for there will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.They will be killed by the sword and be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Spread your faithful love over those who know you, and your righteousness over the upright in heart.

Because of your hardened and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed.

You will be righteous, LORD, even if I bring a case against you. Yet, I wish to contend with you: Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the treacherous live at ease?You planted them, and they have taken root. They have grown and produced fruit. You are ever on their lips, but far from their conscience.As for you, LORD, you know me; you see me. You test whether my heart is with you. Drag the wicked away like sheep to slaughter and set them apart for the day of killing.

Now the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,

Then the LORD said,“ The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is immense, and their sin is extremely serious.I will go down to see if what they have done justifies the cry that has come up to me. If not, I will find out.”

Then the LORD said,“ Should I hide what I am about to do from Abraham?

That day belongs to the Lord, the GOD of Armies, a day of vengeance to avenge himself against his adversaries. The sword will devour and be satisfied; it will drink its fill of their blood, because it will be a sacrifice to the Lord, the GOD of Armies, in the northern land by the Euphrates River.

From one man he has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live.

Seven days from now I will make it rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and every living thing I have made I will wipe off the face of the earth.”

He changes the times and seasons; he removes kings and establishes kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.

The least will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; I will accomplish it quickly in its time.

The course of my life is in your power; rescue me from the power of my enemies and from my persecutors.

When I tried to understand all this, it seemed hopelessuntil I entered God’s sanctuary. Then I understood their destiny.Indeed, you put them in slippery places; you make them fall into ruin.How suddenly they become a desolation! They come to an end, swept away by terrors.

For a day belonging to the LORD of Armies is coming against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up— it will be humbled—

God will bring this about in his own time. He is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords,

About the times and the seasons: Brothers and sisters, you do not need anything to be written to you.

For in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah boarded the ark.

This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent— Jesus Christ.

They will exploit you in their greed with made-up stories. Their condemnation, pronounced long ago, is not idle, and their destruction does not sleep.
