If I go east, He is not there, and if I go west, I cannot perceive Him.

how much less when you complain that you do not see Him, that your case is before Him and you are waiting for Him.

If He passes by me, I wouldn’t see Him; if He goes right by, I wouldn’t recognize Him.

the only One who has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; no one has seen or can see Him, to Him be honor and eternal might. Amen.

Lord, why do You stand so far away? Why do You hide in times of trouble?

Yes, You are a God who hides Himself, God of Israel, Savior.

Lord, how long will You forget me? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?How long will I store up anxious concerns within me, agony in my mind every day?
