O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit[ it] for ever.

Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.

O Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies!For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear[ of it], and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name?
