耶稣说：“我的食物就是遵行差我来者的旨意，做成他的工。

你的言语在我上膛何等甘美，在我口中比蜜更甜！

耶和华万军之神啊，我得着你的言语就当食物吃了；你的言语是我心中的欢喜快乐，因我是称为你名下的人。

耶和华的道理洁净，存到永远；耶和华的典章真实，全然公义。都比金子可羡慕，且比极多的精金可羡慕；比蜜甘甜，且比蜂房下滴的蜜甘甜。

耶稣说：“我有食物吃，是你们不知道的。”

你当领受他口中的教训，将他的言语存在心里。

我将你的话藏在心里，免得我得罪你。

所以，我爱你的命令胜于金子，更胜于精金。

耶稣对信他的犹太人说：“你们若常常遵守我的道，就真是我的门徒；

坚固门徒的心，劝他们恒守所信的道；又说：“我们进入神的国，必须经历许多艰难。”

从此，他门徒中多有退去的，不再和他同行。耶稣就对那十二个门徒说：“你们也要去吗？”西门彼得回答说：“主啊，你有永生之道，我们还归从谁呢？我们已经信了，又知道你是神的圣者。”

在他想不到的日子，不知道的时辰，那仆人的主人要来，重重地处治他，定他和不忠心的人同罪。

我因没有违弃那圣者的言语，就仍以此为安慰，在不止息的痛苦中还可踊跃。

主说：“谁是那忠心有见识的管家，主人派他管理家里的人，按时分粮给他们呢？

只是义人必因信得生。他若退后，我心里就不喜欢他。”我们却不是退后入沉沦的那等人，乃是有信心以致灵魂得救的人。

就要爱慕那纯净的灵奶，像才生的婴孩爱慕奶一样，叫你们因此渐长，以致得救。
