As for me, is my complaint to man? And why should I not be impatient?

我岂是向人诉冤？为何不焦急呢？

我岂是向人诉苦？我为何不是没有耐心呢？

我岂是向人诉苦？我为何不是没有耐心呢？

我岂是向人抱怨？我有理由不耐烦。

我岂是抱怨的人呢？我的心为什么不能忍耐呢？

我豈是向人訴冤？為何不焦急呢？

我豈是向人抱怨？我有理由不耐煩。

我豈是抱怨的人呢？我的心為甚麼不能忍耐呢？

論到我、我的哀怨哪是對人而發呢？我的心怎能不着急呢？

我訴冤抑、豈向人乎、何為不焦急乎、

我不尤人、第中心自憤懣、有何不可。

我豈向人辯論、辯論或作訴冤我豈能不焦急、

“ Is my complaint directed to a human being? Why should I not be impatient?

“ I’m not arguing with mere human beings. So why shouldn’t I be angry and uneasy?

As for me, is my complaint against man? Why should I not be impatient?

“ My complaint is with God, not with people. I have good reason to be so impatient.

As for me, is my complaint against a human being? Then why shouldn’t I be impatient?

As for me, is my complaint to a mortal? Or why should I not be impatient?

“ As for me, is my complaint against man? And if it were, why should I not be impatient?

As for me, is my complaint against a man? Then why shouldn’t I be impatient?

As for me,[ is] my complaint to man? and if[ it were so], why should not my spirit be troubled?

Is my complaint against a man? If so, why should I not be impatient?

Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, And let my cry come unto thee.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, Who is the help of my countenance, and my God.

I pour out my complaint before him; I show before him my trouble.When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, Thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walk Have they hidden a snare for me.

What is my strength, that I should wait? And what is mine end, that I should be patient?

I remember God, and am disquieted: I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed.[ SelahThou holdest mine eyes watching: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times.I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart; And my spirit maketh diligent search.Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favorable no more?Is his lovingkindness clean gone for ever? Doth his promise fail for evermore?Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies?[ Selah

And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king.And he said, If Jehovah do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the threshing- floor, or out of the winepress?

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou answerest not; And in the night season, and am not silent.But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Count not thy handmaid for a wicked woman; for out of the abundance of my complaint and my provocation have I spoken hitherto.

My soul is weary of my life; I will give free course to my complaint; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; Show me wherefore thou contendest with me.

Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.Am I a sea, or a sea- monster, That thou settest a watch over me?When I say, My bed shall comfort me, My couch shall ease my complaint;Then thou scarest me with dreams, And terrifiest me through visions:So that my soul chooseth strangling, And death rather than these my bones.I loathe my life; I would not live alway: Let me alone; for my days are vanity.What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him, And that thou shouldest set thy mind upon him,And that thou shouldest visit him every morning, And try him every moment?How long wilt thou not look away from me, Nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle?If I have sinned, what do I unto thee, O thou watcher of men? Why hast thou set me as a mark for thee, So that I am a burden to myself?And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? For now shall I lie down in the dust; And thou wilt seek me diligently, but I shall not be.

And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.

Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: abide ye here, and watch with me.
