You say,‘ Where now is the house of the great, the tents where the wicked lived?’

You are saying to yourselves,‘ Where is the great man’s house now? Where are the tents where his evil family lived?’

For you say,‘ Where is the house of the prince? Where is the tent in which the wicked lived?’

You will tell me of rich and wicked people whose houses have vanished because of their sins.

For you say,“ Where now is the nobleman’s house?” and“ Where are the tents the wicked lived in?”

For you say,‘ Where is the house of the nobleman, And where is the tent, the dwelling places of the wicked?’

For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? And where is the tent wherein the wicked dwelt?

For you say,“ Where now is the nobleman’s house?” and“ Where are the tents the wicked lived in?”

For ye say, Where[ is] the house of the prince? and where[ are] the dwelling places of the wicked?

For you say,‘ Where now is the nobleman’s house, and where are the tents in which the wicked lived?’

For you say,‘ Where is the house of the prince? Where is the tent in which the wicked lived?’

Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, And the dwelling place of the wicked will come to nothing.”

Yet he will perish forever like his own refuse; Those who have seen him will say,‘ Where is he?’

“ I will send out the curse,” says the Lord of hosts;“ It shall enter the house of the thief And the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. It shall remain in the midst of his house And consume it, with its timber and stones.”

Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more; Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found.

“ Woe to him who covets evil gain for his house, That he may set his nest on high, That he may be delivered from the power of disaster!You give shameful counsel to your house, Cutting off many peoples, And sin against your soul.For the stone will cry out from the wall, And the beam from the timbers will answer it.

Also, his possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very large household, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the East.

And he spoke to the congregation, saying,“ Depart now from the tents of these wicked men! Touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins.”So they got away from around the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram; and Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the door of their tents, with their wives, their sons, and their little children.And Moses said:“ By this you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works, for I have not done them of my own will.If these men die naturally like all men, or if they are visited by the common fate of all men, then the Lord has not sent me.But if the Lord creates a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the pit, then you will understand that these men have rejected the Lord.”Now it came to pass, as he finished speaking all these words, that the ground split apart under them,and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Korah, with all their goods.So they and all those with them went down alive into the pit; the earth closed over them, and they perished from among the assembly.Then all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said,“ Lest the earth swallow us up also!”

I would declare to Him the number of my steps; Like a prince I would approach Him.

God shall likewise destroy you forever; He shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, And uproot you from the land of the living. SelahThe righteous also shall see and fear, And shall laugh at him, saying,
