For you say,‘ Where is the house of the nobleman, And where is the tent, the dwelling places of the wicked?’

You say,‘ Where now is the house of the great, the tents where the wicked lived?’

You are saying to yourselves,‘ Where is the great man’s house now? Where are the tents where his evil family lived?’

For you say,‘ Where is the house of the prince? Where is the tent in which the wicked lived?’

You will tell me of rich and wicked people whose houses have vanished because of their sins.

For you say,“ Where now is the nobleman’s house?” and“ Where are the tents the wicked lived in?”

For you say,‘ Where is the house of the prince? And where is the tent, The dwelling place of the wicked?’

For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? And where is the tent wherein the wicked dwelt?

For you say,“ Where now is the nobleman’s house?” and“ Where are the tents the wicked lived in?”

For ye say, Where[ is] the house of the prince? and where[ are] the dwelling places of the wicked?

For you say,‘ Where now is the nobleman’s house, and where are the tents in which the wicked lived?’

For you say,‘ Where is the house of the prince? Where is the tent in which the wicked lived?’

Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, And the tent of the wicked will no longer exist.”

He perishes forever like his refuse; Those who have seen him will say,‘ Where is he?’

I will make it go forth,” declares the Lord of armies,“ and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name; and it will spend the night within that house and destroy it with its timber and stones.”

Then he passed away, and behold, he was no more; I searched for him, but he could not be found.

“ Woe to him who makes evil profit for his household, To put his nest on high, To be saved from the hand of catastrophe!You have planned a shameful thing for your house By bringing many peoples to an end; So you are sinning against yourself.For the stone will cry out from the wall, And the rafter will answer it from the framework.

His possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and very many servants; and that man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

and he spoke to the congregation, saying,“ Get away now from the tents of these wicked men, and do not touch anything that belongs to them, or you will be swept away in all their sin!”So they moved away from the areas around the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram; and Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the entrances of their tents, along with their wives, their sons, and their little ones.Then Moses said,“ By this you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these deeds; for it is not my doing.If these men die the death of all mankind, or if they suffer the fate of all mankind, then the Lord has not sent me.But if the Lord brings about an entirely new thing and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them with everything that is theirs, and they descend alive into Sheol, then you will know that these men have been disrespectful to the Lord.”And as he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split open;and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them, their households, and all the people who belonged to Korah with all their possessions.So they and all that belonged to them went down alive to Sheol; and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.Then all Israel who were around them fled at their outcry, for they said,“ The earth might swallow us!”

I would declare to Him the number of my steps; Like a prince, I would approach Him.

But God will break you down forever; He will snatch you up and tear you away from your tent, And uproot you from the land of the living. SelahThe righteous will see and fear, And they will laugh at him, saying,
