Yet they say to God,“ Leave us alone! We don’t want to know your ways.

其平日對上帝曰、我不悅爾道、勿親我、

其平日對天主曰、爾離我、我不願知爾之道、

Yet they say to God,‘ Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways.

But they say to God,‘ Leave us alone! We don’t want to know how you want us to live.

They say to God,‘ Depart from us! We do not desire the knowledge of your ways.

And yet they say to God,‘ Go away. We want no part of you and your ways.

Yet they say to God,‘ Go away from us! We do not even desire the knowledge of Your ways.

Yet they say to God,‘ Depart from us, For we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways.

And they say unto God, Depart from us; For we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.

Yet they say to God:“ Leave us alone! We don’t want to know Your ways.

Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.

So they say to God,‘ Turn away from us! We do not want to know your ways.

They tell God,‘ Depart from us, for we don’t want to know about your ways.

They were the ones who said to God,“ Leave us alone!” and“ What can the Almighty do to us?”

Because they hated knowledge, didn’t choose to fear the LORD,

The one who hates me also hates my Father.If I had not done the works among them that no one else has done, they would not be guilty of sin. Now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.

In all his scheming, the wicked person arrogantly thinks,“ There’s no accountability, since there’s no God.”

The mindset of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit to God’s law. Indeed, it is unable to do so.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and discipline.

For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear what they want to hear.They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths.

When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before him, and said in a loud voice,“ What do you have to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torment me!”

Then all the people of the Gerasene region asked him to leave them, because they were gripped by great fear. So getting into the boat, he returned.

and with every wicked deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth and so be saved.For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe the lie,so that all will be condemned— those who did not believe the truth but delighted in unrighteousness.

Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.Who among you can convict me of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me?The one who is from God listens to God’s words. This is why you don’t listen, because you are not from God.”

The Chaldeans pull them all up with a hook, catch them in their dragnet, and gather them in their fishing net; that is why they are glad and rejoice.

And because they did not think it worthwhile to acknowledge God, God delivered them over to a corrupt mind so that they do what is not right.

“ How long, inexperienced ones, will you love ignorance? How long will you mockers enjoy mocking and you fools hate knowledge?

This is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.For everyone who does evil hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed.
