So I reflected on all this and concluded that the righteous and the wise and what they do are in God’s hands, but no one knows whether love or hate awaits them.All share a common destiny— the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not. As it is with the good, so with the sinful; as it is with those who take oaths, so with those who are afraid to take them.

He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land— your grain, new wine and olive oil— the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.You will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor will any of your livestock be without young.

Our barns will be filled with every kind of provision. Our sheep will increase by thousands, by tens of thousands in our fields;our oxen will draw heavy loads. There will be no breaching of walls, no going into captivity, no cry of distress in our streets.
