“ My troubled thoughts prompt me to answer because I am greatly disturbed.

This is why my unsettling thoughts compel me to answer, because I am upset!

Do not be eager in your spirit to be angry, For anger resides in the heart of fools.

I listened to the reprimand which insults me, And the spirit of my understanding makes me answer.

Who could contend with me? For then I would be silent and die.

Do you see a person who is hasty with his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

So do not say,‘ We have found wisdom: God will defeat him, not man.’But he has not presented his words against me, Nor will I reply to him with your arguments.“ They are dismayed, they no longer answer; Words have failed them.Should I wait, because they are not speaking, Because they have stopped and no longer answer?I too will give my share of answers; I also will tell my opinion.For I am full of words; The spirit within me compels me.Behold, my belly is like unvented wine; Like new wineskins, it is about to burst.Let me speak so that I may get relief; Let me open my lips and answer.

But if I say,“ I will not remember Him Nor speak anymore in His name,” Then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; And I am tired of holding it in, And I cannot endure it.
