Then his wife said to him,“ Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!”

他的妻子对他说：“你仍然持守你的纯正吗？你背弃上帝，死了吧！”

他的妻子对他说：“你仍然持守你的纯正吗？你背弃神，死了吧！”

他的妻子对他说：“你还要持守自己的纯正吗？不如亵渎上帝，死掉算了！”

他妻子对他说：“难道你还要坚守自己的纯全吗？你不如放弃神，死掉算了。”

他的妻子對他說：「你仍然持守你的純正嗎？你棄掉神，死了吧！」

他的妻子對他說：「你仍然持守你的純正嗎？你背棄上帝，死了吧！」

他的妻子對他說：「你仍然持守你的純正嗎？你背棄神，死了吧！」

他的妻子對他說：「你還要持守自己的純正嗎？不如褻瀆上帝，死掉算了！」

他妻子對他說：“難道你還要堅守自己的純全嗎？你不如放棄神，死掉算了。”

他妻子對他說：『你一直持守你的純全？謗讟上帝來死吧。』

其妻曰、爾猶守正乎、其違上帝而死、

其妻曰、爾猶不變所守乎、不如詛上帝而死可也。

其妻謂之曰、爾猶持守爾善乎、莫若詛詛或作毀謗天主而死、

His wife said to him,“ Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!”

His wife said to him,“ Are you still continuing to be faithful to the Lord? Speak evil things against him and die!”

Then his wife said to him,“ Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die.”

His wife said to him,“ Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die.”

His wife said to him,“ Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!”

Then his wife said to him,“ Do you still hold firm your integrity? Curse God and die!”

Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still hold fast thine integrity? renounce God, and die.

His wife said to him,“ Do you still retain your integrity? Curse God and die!”

Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

Then his wife said to him,“ Are you still holding firmly to your integrity? Curse God, and die!”

Then his wife said to him,“ Do you still maintain your integrity? Renounce God, and die.”

But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”

Then the Lord said to Satan,“ Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.”

Then the man said,“ The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”

You have said,‘ It is useless to serve God; What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, And that we have walked as mourners Before the Lord of hosts?

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”

For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David.

Yet they say to God,‘ Depart from us, For we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways.Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what profit do we have if we pray to Him?’

And while he was still talking with them, there was the messenger, coming down to him; and then the king said,“ Surely this calamity is from the Lord; why should I wait for the Lord any longer?”
