And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ All right. I am handing him over to you. But you must spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand; only spare his life.”

“ All right, do with him as you please,” the Lord said to Satan.“ But spare his life.”

“ Very well,” the LORD told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

So the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life.”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thy hand; only spare his life.

“ Very well,” the Lord told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he[ is] in thine hand; but save his life.

So the LORD said to Satan,“ All right, he is in your power; only preserve his life.”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand. Only spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

And the Lord said,“ Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”

Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness.Jesus asked him, saying,“ What is your name?” And he said,“ Legion,” because many demons had entered him.And they begged Him that He would not command them to go out into the abyss.Now a herd of many swine was feeding there on the mountain. So they begged Him that He would permit them to enter them. And He permitted them.Then the demons went out of the man and entered the swine, and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the lake and drowned.

When I fixed My limit for it, And set bars and doors;When I said,‘ This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!’

You who still the noise of the seas, The noise of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.

Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
