永恆主對撒但說：『看哪，他都讓你手擺布；只是他的性命你卻要保存。』

耶和华对撒但说：“他在你手中，只要存留他的性命。”

耶和华说：“好吧，他在你手中，但要留他一命。”

耶和华对撒但说：“好吧，他在你手中，不过，要留存他的命。”

耶和華對撒但說：「他在你手中，只要存留他的性命。」

耶和華對撒但說：「看哪，他在你手中，只要留下他的性命。」

耶和華說：「好吧，他在你手中，但要留他一命。」

The Lord said to Satan,“ Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ All right. I am handing him over to you. But you must spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand; only spare his life.”

“ All right, do with him as you please,” the Lord said to Satan.“ But spare his life.”

“ Very well,” the LORD told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

So the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thy hand; only spare his life.

“ Very well,” the Lord told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he[ is] in thine hand; but save his life.

So the LORD said to Satan,“ All right, he is in your power; only preserve his life.”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand. Only spare his life.”

永恆主對撒但說：『看哪，凡他所有的都讓你手擺布；只是他的身子、你卻不可伸手加害。』於是撒但就從永恆主面前退出來。

那臨到了你們的試煉、無非是人類所受得了的。上帝是可信可靠，他必不讓你們受試煉、過於你們所能受的；他乃是要連同試煉、開造出路來，使你們能擔受得起。

西門，西門，你看吧，撒但要求要得着你們，好篩你們像麥子一樣；但是我為你祈求了，叫你的信心不消失；你回轉過來以後，要使你弟兄堅固。』

別怕你所要受的苦了。看吧，魔鬼將要把你們中間幾個人丟在監裏，叫你們被試驗；你們就有苦難十日。你要忠信至死，我就將生命的華冠賜給你。

因為耶穌曾囑咐污靈從那人身上出來。原來那污靈曾經多次抓住了他；他是常被看守着，又用鎖鍊和腳鐐捆鎖好的；他竟把所捆鎖的掙斷，被鬼催迫到野地來了。耶穌問他說：『你名叫甚麼？』他說：『軍團』，因為有許多鬼進他裏面。鬼求耶穌不要吩咐他們往無底坑去。那裏有好大羣的豬正在山上餵着；鬼就求耶穌准他們進豬裏面去。他准了他們。鬼就從那人身上出來，進入豬裏面；那一羣闖下山崖、到湖裏去，淹死了。

我為它定了界限，安設門閂門戶，說：「你只可到這裏，不可再進；你狂傲的波浪到這裏要止息住』？

使諸海之怒號、其波浪之怒號、和萬國之民的喧嘩平靜的；

那一千年完了，撒但就會被釋放、出了監牢。

我看見有一位天使從天上降下來，手裏執有無底坑的鑰匙和一條大鍊子。他捉住了那龍、那古蛇、就是魔鬼、撒但，把他捆綁了一千年，
