那麼，就知道是神顛倒我的案件，用他的網圈住我。

那麼你們就該知道是上帝在顛倒是非來辦我，是他用羅網來圍繞我。

當知傾覆我、網圍我、乃上帝也、

當知天主使我受苦、圍我以網羅、

then know that God has wronged me and drawn his net around me.

Then I want you to know that God hasn’t treated me right. In fact, he has captured me in his net.

know then that God has put me in the wrong and closed his net about me.

But it is God who has wronged me, capturing me in his net.

For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he wanders into its mesh.A snare will take him by the heel. A trap will catch him.A noose is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him on the path.

When they go, I will spread my net on them. I will bring them down like the birds of the sky. I will chastise them, as their congregation has heard.

“ As God lives, who has taken away my right, the Almighty, who has made my soul bitter

I will also spread my net on him, and he will be taken in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet he will not see it, though he will die there.

If I have sinned, what do I do to you, you watcher of men? Why have you set me as a mark for you, so that I am a burden to myself?

But now you rejected us, and brought us to dishonor, and don’t go out with our armies.You make us turn back from the adversary. Those who hate us take plunder for themselves.You have made us like sheep for food, and have scattered us among the nations.You sell your people for nothing, and have gained nothing from their sale.You make us a reproach to our neighbors, a scoffing and a derision to those who are around us.You make us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples.

The Lord Yahweh says:“ I will spread out my net on you with a company of many peoples; and they will bring you up in my net.

God delivers me to the ungodly, and casts me into the hands of the wicked.I was at ease, and he broke me apart. Yes, he has taken me by the neck, and dashed me to pieces. He has also set me up for his target.His archers surround me. He splits my kidneys apart, and does not spare. He pours out my bile on the ground.He breaks me with breach on breach. He runs at me like a giant.

“ Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look, and see if there is any sorrow like my sorrow, which is brought on me, with which Yahweh has afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.“ From on high has he sent fire into my bones, and it prevails against them. He has spread a net for my feet. He has turned me back. He has made me desolate and I faint all day long.

For you, God, have tested us. You have refined us, as silver is refined.You brought us into prison. You laid a burden on our backs.You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance.
